Prescott and Russell Community Services

This year, I am seeking your financial help because I am one of the many recipients of the Prescott and Russell Community Services.

Because I am receiving these services, I still live at my home and this is possible because of the Prescott and Russell Community Services. How wonderful to still be in my home, sweet home, because of the services I receive from this agency.

Last year a total of 2 405 elderly and handicapped citizens of our area received much-needed help from the agency. Because of the wide variety of services offered, we were able to function on our own within the confines of our homes. A total of 477 volunteers donated an amazing 24 193 hours of their time. (see attached appendix)

The Ministry of Health of the Province of Ontario does not fully fund the whole of the operations. Therefore fund raising has to be done. Our objective is $70,000.00.

In conclusion, I request your generosity in order that the Prescott and Russell Community Services continue to help thousand of persons.
