We are proud to present to you the
Board of Directors of the Foundation:

The PRCS Foundation has been operation for a short time. It has as an objective to support the activities it is given by PRCS which favor the maintenance of people in their natural surroundings. Last year, we gave it activities which concerned the quality of life of the recipients and generated a profit.

The Foundation will need to use some funds in order to achieve the following activities:

• In the 1st case, we have bought 2 personal assistance devices – this is a device which signals automatically up to 4 phone numbers of parents, neighbors, or friends in order to alert them about the safety of the person. When the owner presses on the alarm button found on a pendant, the system is activated. The 2 devices the Foundation will buy are available for people living in the Prescott and Russell region. These devices will be, of course, loaned out and installed free of charge. The persons likely to benefit from this venture are people who live in non-institutionalized homes and who cannot afford to buy such a device. Presently, we already have given one of these devices to a person living in the Russell area.

• Our 2nd initiative given to us by PRCS is to support the day program. Our help consists in covering part of the cost of traveling for people needing transportation so that they can participate in the day program located in Rockland and Alfred.
  

These 2 initiatives total $600. Others can be added depending on demand.
